Caffè Rosati

At Piazzo del Popolo there are two elegant cafes on east and west sides of the piazza. I’ve seen Caffe Shakerato on cafe menus but wasn’t totally sure what it was. It’s an espresso shaken vigorously with ice in a cocktail shaker then stained into a coup glass. What a sophisticated way to live! Along with it I had a single Marron Glacé (French name for glazed chestnut).
